Te Tai o Aorere, (Nelson/Tasman region) is nestled in Te Tauihu o te Waka ā Māui, the top of the South Island. Blessed with its year-round sunshine, golden beaches, and entrenched in local history, our RTLB serves a diverse landscape of urban, rural, city, and remote kura settings including Primary, Intermediate, Secondary, Area, Māori-Medium, and Integrated kura.
Our RTLB work alongside schools, kura and kaiako (teachers) to strengthen inclusive classroom practice and build teacher capacity so that mokopuna (learners) can achieve their goals. In some cases, RTLB may work directly with mokopuna to achieve sustainable outcomes for the school, kura, learners, and their whānau. We primarily support Years 2–10, with flexibility to work outside these levels by exception, and collaborate with relevant agencies and Ministries as needed.
Our team brings extensive teaching experience and specialist training, with all RTLB holding a minimum of a Specialist Teaching Postgraduate Diploma. They are dedicated to making a meaningful difference for the 54 school communities throughout the rohe (region).
